Pastor - Jonathan Black

Pastor Jonathan Black comes to us at St. John's from nearby Roselle Il. Born and raised in Roselle, Pastor Black is a product of Lutheran education having attended Trinity Lutheran School as a youngster, Valley Lutheran High School and Wartburg College in Waverly Iowa.

Pastor Black went on to receive his Master's in Political Science from Northern Il. University in Dekalb and his Master's of Divinity from the Lutheran School of Theology, Chicago.

From 1997 - 2000 Pastor Black served as a missionary to Uganda East Africa, planting churches, training leaders, and managing social projects.

Pastor Black lives in Ashton with his wife Lori and their four children.
